Our boiler is fed by wood chip from our workshop for heating both our buildings and wood dryer.In October of 2007, Natural Wood obtained the FSC™ (Forest Stewardship Council) eco-certification for its plantation Teak. This eco-certification guarantees the respect of the environment, the economy and local populations. Based on the 3 pillars of sustainable development, this certification represents another step forward towards a respectuous use of global natural resources. Our Company is striving to sensibilize to environmental stakes the factories producing our flooring, decking and ship deck strips from lumber.
Even in Politically tough countries, Natural-Wood is making certain the totality of the wood used in its factories comes from sustainably managed forests. Thus ensuring each cut down tree is replanted at least once.
